Landis & Gyr Stiftung Residency
Andrea Gohl is an artist based in Zürich, working across photography and moving image. Andrea’s work as an artist is informed by the experience and intertwining of narratives around everyday places. She is interested in how relationships to places are (trans-)formed and how meaning manifests itself within spaces and places - in both personal and public realms.
Recent solo exhibitions include: From Here, Coalmine, Winterthur (2017); Endell Street, Swiss Church, London (2015); Set Pieces, ABBT Projects, Zürich (2011). Andrea received the UBS Foundation Art Grant in 2017 and the Werkbeitrag Bildende Kunst der Stadt Zürich in 2012. Her works are held in the collections of the Swiss National Library, Sammlung Peter Bosshard, and the Fotomuseum Winterthur among others.
